- What do I need to bring to class? Please bring a yoga type mat and/or large towel,
as we will be lying on the floor during the relaxation meditations. If you don't have a mat, there will be a few extras
available. We also recommend that you bring a pillow to use beneath your head and/or knees
for added comfort. Temperatures sometimes change, so it is also nice if you bring your own light weight blanket
type cover to have beside you if needed. We also recommend that you bring your own bottled water
as no food or drink is provided per Grange rules.
- What are My Relaxation Circle Meditation Classes?
These classes provide an opportunity to be part of a group whose focus is to Relax. In our busy lives, it is wonderful to
take time for yourself to settle comfortably, close your eyes, and be expertly guided into deep relaxation. These
classes have been very well received by participants.
- What is Yoga Nidra? Yoga Nidra is also known
as deep yogic sleep. Different from the physical stretches of Hatha Yoga, this ancient form of yoga encourages us to become
deeply relaxed, yet remain fully alert and aware. When truly relaxed, our body, mind, heart, and soul become integrated. Participants
are most often amazed how easily they relax at such deep levels.
- What if I arrive late? Please
plan ahead, so you'll arrive early to settle in before class begins. If you are running late, much
as we would like for you to be there, please know that the doors will be closed a few minutes after class begins, especially
when the meditation begins. This is to honor those present and settling into their precious time for relaxation.
